Demonstration Hockey Diagnostic and Training Center HDC Czech Republic is well known for its services in the individual training process for hockey players. All hockey players from the youngest age to professionals' train in the center all year round. In the summer, during training and camps, the hockey center’s programs are literally sold out.
Why is this center so successful? This is a competent synergy of modern technologies, a working methodology for preparing players, effective management and high-quality educated coaches. But last but not least, the key success factor is the universality of the center's activities.
Not only hockey players can train in the hockey center, as evidenced by the cooperation with the Czech national volleyball team. The women national team U16 (2008-2009) completed its third training camp in HDC Czech Republic on August 9-13, 2022. Fitness preparation consisted of initial testing using the beeSPORT system and subsequent preparation and implementation of training plans.
With the help of the beeSPORT system, special tests were carried out, designed for the specifics of volleyball players. The main emphasis was placed on tests of the lower extremities and jumps. The data obtained helped to better set up training plans and check the results of already completed training cycles.
An example of successful cooperation between the women's volleyball team and the hockey diagnostic center makes it even more optimistic about the prospects for such centers in various regions of the world. Even in not the most "hockey" countries, such a center will find its application and will be in demand with the right technology settings and appropriate management.
