  • General (physical) preparation. It is critical because it improves endurance, strength, speed and coordination, which allows the player to effectively perform a variety of tasks on the ice, including quick movements, maintaining position, fighting for the puck and maneuvering in difficult situations, which ultimately improves the overall level of play skills and contributes to success in hockey.
  • Specialized preparation. It is an important element in sports because it allows athletes to develop and improve specific skills and techniques related to their sport.
